  This school is just awful. My daughter goes here and it has been the worse experience we have had with any school. We are military and I'm seriously just thinking about home schooling her. She has been out of school for three weeks due to medical issues. I have been to the school 4 times, called several times, filled out forms just to request her school work so she doesn't get behind. We still haven't gotten it. She talks about kids cussing all the time in class and talking about drugs and nothing is done. At this point I am having to contact the board of education to try to get them to get her school work. I would not recommend anybody send their kid to this school. If this is what El Paso ISD has to offer, they need to step up their game a lot more and put the students first!

  Bassett is a hardworking school that will push you beyond the expectations of other schools. Teachers are always willing to help a student and provide them conmfort with their problems and go well beyond the requirements that they're asked of. The education system is challenging for students but it's to help them recall notes for upcoming tests and qyizzes at the end of the week. Moving on to the topic of violent fights, there has been only one on school campus during school hours and one after school hours also on school campus grounds. Bassett is a school that pushes the limits of education and isn't afraid to try something new. They have a hardworking staff and have determined volunteers that help out habitually.
